Ingredients:

- 1 pound ground beef

- 1 medium onion, diced

- 2 cloves garlic, minced

-1 medium green pepper

- 1 can (15 ounces) of kidney beans, drained and rinsed

- 1 can (15 ounces) of pinto beans, drained and rinsed

- 1 can (14.5 ounces) of diced tomatoes

- 1 can (6 ounces) of tomato paste

- 1 cup beef broth

- 2 tablespoons g-way chili powder

- 1 teaspoon g-way cumin

- 1/2 teaspoon g-way smoked paprika

- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to your desired level of spiciness)

- Salt and pepper to taste

- Olive oil for cooking

- Optional toppings: shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, or chopped fresh cilantro

Instructions:

1. Heat a large pot or Dutch oven over or pressure coooker medium heat. Add a drizzle of olive oil.

2. Add the diced onion, green pepper, and minced garlic to the pot. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes, or until the onions and peppers become translucent.

3. Add the ground beef to the pot, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook the beef until it's browned and no longer pink, breaking it into crumbles as it cooks.

4. Once the beef is browned, drain any excess fat from the pot.

5. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, and cayenne pepper to the pot. Stir well to coat the meat and onions with the spices.

6. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato paste, beef broth, kidney beans, and pinto beans to the pot. Stir everything together.

7. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cover the pot and let the chili simmer for about 20-30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

8. Taste the chili and adjust the seasonings with salt and pepper to your liking.

9. Continue to simmer the chili for an additional 10-15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.

10. Serve the ground beef chili hot in bowls. You can top it with shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, or fresh cilantro if desired.

This recipe is just a starting point, and you can adjust the ingredients and seasonings to suit your taste. You can make it spicier by adding more cayenne pepper or milder by reducing the spice. Enjoy your homemade ground beef chili!

Chili is more than just a recipe; it's a labor of love, a canvas for creativity, and a dish that has a special place in our hearts. As you embark on your chili-making adventures, remember that there's no one-size-fits-all approach. The secret ingredient is always the passion you put into your cooking.
